The National Law Enforcement Museum - A Matter of Honor
Hall of Remembrance
Be inspired by the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Throughout the history of the United States, millions of brave men and women have served our country and communities as law enforcement officers. In their efforts to protect and serve, more than 18,000 have lost their lives. The Hall of Remembrance is a respectful space created to reflect and honor our fallen heroes. Designed to complement the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, it provides a place to connect and share stories.

Faces of the Fallen

View portraits of recently fallen officers and those heroes of yesteryear whose deaths were only recently discovered. A touch-screen multimedia display allows you to learn about these officers through testimonials and photos provided by their friends and loved ones. Browse stories and profiles at random, or search for specific officers or law enforcement agencies from a growing database.

Honoring the Fallen

Every year during National Police Week, hundreds of members of the Police Unity Tour raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in a bicycle ride to honor their fallen brethren. Learn more about this annual ride, see how the Police Unity Tour and the nation as a whole honor the fallen and visit a display of powerful objects left behind at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial during National Police Week.
