MAP TO THE MEMORIAL
The Memorial and Visitor Center were established and are now managed by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, Inc. (NLEOMF), a private, nonprofit organization formed in 1984 for the purpose of honoring the service and sacrifice of America's police officers.
The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial is located on E Street, between 4th and 5th Streets, NW, in Washington, D.C. The Memorial is open year round, 24 hours a day. Street parking is available at or near the Memorial.
Visitors can also easily reach the Memorial by Metro subway. Take the Metro to the Judiciary Square Stop, F Street Exit (the Memorial is directly above).
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
FROM THE SOUTH- Take 95 to 395 North and cross the 14th Street Bridge. After crossing the bridge, stay to the right and take the 12th Street Exit. On the exit ramp, stay to the left and go into the tunnel. While in the Tunnel, get into the right hand lane. As you exit the tunnel, make a right hand turn onto Constitution Avenue. Follow Constitution Avenue down to 6th Street.
TO GO TO THE VISITOR CENTER: Make a left hand turn onto 6th Street and
follow it up to E Street. Make a left on E Street, and the Visitor
Center is half way down the block on your right hand side.
TO GO TO THE MEMORIAL ITSELF: Make a left hand turn onto 6th Street and
follow it up to F Street. Make a right hand turn onto F Street and the
Memorial is 1.5 blocks down F Street on your right hand side.
FROM NORTH VIA MARYLAND-
Take 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway) South to Route 50 West/New York
Avenue. Follow New York Avenue to 6th Street, NW. Make a left hand turn
onto 6th Street.
TO GO TO THE MEMORIAL: follow 6th Street to F Street.
Make a left hand turn onto F Street and the Memorial is 2.5 blocks down
on your right hand side.
TO GO TO THE VISITOR CENTER: follow 6th Street down to E Street. Make a
right hand turn onto E Street and the Visitor Center is halfway down the
middle of that street on your right.
The Memorial Visitor Center is located less than two blocks from the Memorial, at
605 E Street, NW.
It is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday,
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and Noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Survivors of an officer killed in the line of duty in 2007 or even during the past two to three years: Information, registration forms, and hotel request forms for National Police Week 2008 activities in Washington, DC, will be mailed to survivors in late January. Follow the instructions and return the forms. You need take no action until then.
