CORPORATE PARTNER / STERLING CIRCLE ELITE:

Mag-Lite

This year Mag-Lite has continued their support of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund by committing $1 million to the Campaign to Build the National Law Enforcement Museum. Mag-Lite will sponsor the Locker Room, a major exhibit in the Museum which will be built at Judiciary Square. The Museum will contain over 30,000 square feet of exhibit space and will allow the Memorial Fund to tell the rest of the story behind our nation's law enforcement professionals.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial was established in 1991 in order to honor fallen heroes. Mag-Lite was one of three original corporate sponsors and contributed $50,000 to the Memorial Fund. The Memorial is located in Judiciary Square in Washington D.C. and was built and dedicated to the nation's law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. Oval in shape, the Memorial's "pathway of remembrance" allows each visitor to read the names of over 15,000 names inscribed on the Memorial. President George Bush, Sr. assisted in the dedication of the Memorial in 1991. John Wyatt, Vice President of Sales, attended the event on behalf of Mag-Lite and remarked at the time that, "Mag Lite's contribution is simply our way of showing our gratitude for the support that Mag-Lite® flashlights have received from law enforcement officers across the nation."
