| Chris loved his job. "For Chris, it wasn't a matter of just enforcing laws, but being part of a community," his father said. But more than anything, Chris loved his wife and infant daughter, Sophia. When Sophia was just 10 weeks old, Chris wrote a letter for her to read when she was older. He wrote in part, "I consider myself to be the luckiest man to ever walk the face of this earth. If anything were to happen to me, I could honestly say I've known true love and happiness ... because of your mother and you .... I love both of you more than you will ever know." | |
